About

Cleaning at the 2010 Arnold

I come from a past of sports and bodybuilding. Now that I have turned a new leaf with my competitive career; competing in Weightlifting from 2007 to 2013 and currently trying to get back to weightlifting, this has shown me many different ways to gain strength, power, and overall athletic ability. I hold a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University; I’m also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, and an Advanced Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting.

I have also just started a weightlifting club, Monumental Strength, in Colorado Springs. If you’re interested in learning more, check out our Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/MonumentalStrengthClub

My mission is that this site will be a valuable resource for people of all backgrounds to gain knowledge and apply it to training in a way to improve their current situation, whatever that may be. I also hope that everyone might get a laugh or two along the way, as I try to add a comical side in with the science. I welcome you to send me questions with anything you may need help answering. However, I am not ashamed to say that I do not know everything. If I cannot answer your questions with my own knowledge, I will use the resources available to me and find you the answer!
